Migration of the red-breasted geese is an inspiring story about endurance, resilience and beauty. Twice a year their whole population fly over 6000 km in two continents in search of the best wintering and breeding grounds.
From Arctic Russia, through Kazakhstan, Kalmykia, Ukraine, Romania to Bulgaria – is has to overcome not only the distance but all the dangers along the way.
In the video, made within the project LIFE for Safe Fly for the World Migratory Birds Day, you will learn more about the different countries the red-breasted geese cross and our efforts in its conservation and protection.
