Exhibition, dedicated to the Red-breasted geese, was open in Sofia


On 22nd of November we opened the exhibition, dedicated to the Red-Breasted Goose in the National Museum of Natural History. The exhibition has been organized by BSPBSociety of animalists florists and scientific illustrators – SAFSI and the National Museum of Natural History.

The exhibition shows the artworks by the SAFSI members as a part of their annual exhibit, dedicated to the species, and the drawings of the children which have taken part in the competition “Draw Bran”. In addition you will have the opportunity to learn interesting facts and to see antique lithographies of the Red-Breasted Geese.

During the opening of the exhibition dr. Nikolay Petkov presented the Red-Breasted Goose, which is a globally endangered species, and the role of Bulgaria as a key place for its conservation. Georgi Pchelarov, chairman of SAFSI, еxpressed his gratitude to all of the artists and especially the youngest amongst them.
